  • "Spiritual wisdom frees the mind and intellect of their shackles, building greater and greater behavioural skill and harmony. By eliminating conflicts, it promotes the spirit of reconciliation." -Swamiji
  • "For the true seeker, the effort should be to dissuade the mind from plural and divergent interests and fix it exclusively on the spiritual goal. All thoughts, words and deeds must harmoniously converge to this end." -Swamiji
  • "The aim of meditation is to locate the Self. But to know the Self is not only to realise it in meditation. The Self is the Self in all states, under all conditions of life. To know the Self is to realise it as ever as such." -Swamiji
  • "Spirituality is a strong motivational force. It can inspire an individual, a society, as also a whole nation. When provided by noble teachers and leaders, spiritual inspiration can deliver people from fear and corruption, and strengthen their minds for winning any social or national cause." -Swamiji

Welcome to the Center for Inner Resources Development - North America (CIRD-NA)
CIRD (NA) is a non-profit, 501c(3) tax exempt spiritual and educational organization established in 2007 to promote the development and application of Inner Resources for the welfare of individuals and society in the West.

What are Inner Resources?
'Inner Resources' are not material - we are not referring to bodily resources. The 'Inner Resources' primarily deal with the human mind. The thoughts, emotions, and imaginations are the commonly known different functions of the mind. We need to recognize these functions and also the truth that the mind has an infinite dimension associated with it. This infinite dimension of the mind is called by various names such as Consciousness or Self or Subject etc. It is the source of vast inner resources that make the mind a subject of study and development. Qualities or virtues of the mind like confidence, commitment, dedication, wholesomeness, and integrity etc. result from accessing and developing the 'Inner Resources'.

Who Should Participate and Join CIRD-NA?
The CIRD-NA is meant for all who seek excellence in life; for all who wish to succeed in a holistic way in all walks of life including professional, family, and societal roles; for all who wish to look inside and know themselves, discovering their inner beauty and expanse as well as the associated powers and potentials.
