As we keep listening, we feel we have gained deeper understanding of this Knowledge and start making our assessments. But is intellectual understanding enough? Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha cautions that it most certainly is not.

To make this Knowledge our own we must go within, meditating and contemplating on the Truth of our real identity. The journey is about cultivating qualities to make the mind pure. Only then will our focus shift from mental impressions, to Consciousness that is the substratum of all impressions, just as waves of the ocean contain nothing but the ocean itself. The goal is simply to keep walking. Blessed are we to have our Spiritual Masters guiding us along the path with their wisdom, openness, and loving kindness.
