046- How to Remain Stable through All Changes – 2|Voice of Upanishads | Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha

1851 Views | 3 years ago

As spiritual seekers, we may have acquired a great deal of academic knowledge about Atma. But will that suffice in making us stable and poised through all vagaries of life? Nutan Swamiji explains that the knowledge of Atma will become fruitful and beneficial only when we realize Atma as our own identity. By seeing Atma as our own identity - we attain eternal sukha.

Swamiji elaborates that this seeing is not an ordinary seeing through sense organs nor a comprehension through the process of inference - it is on the other hand a direct (aparoksha) knowledge of the Self. The sukha which accrues from it is eternal because it is not depended on anything else. It comes from being rooted in one's own real identity which is eternal, unchanging, and unaffected.

Swamiji says, it is an inestimable treasure available to anyone, provided one sincerely pursues for it.

Swamiji will be discussing 'Voice of Upanishads'. The Global Satsang will be based on Kathopanishad and Mundakopanishad. | Live Satsangs with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST.
