The third chapter of bhagavad gita begins with a very pertinent question of Arjuna: If knowledge is superior to activity, then why should I fight this terrible war? What indeed will bring me everlasting good?

Quoting Krishna's own words from various slokas in second chapter, Poojya Swamiji painstakingly brings to light the confusion in Arjuna's mind. Krishna first gave Arjuna the knowledge of SELF and immediately afterwards, exhorted him to fight the war. To Arjuna, it appeared as if Krishna is confusing him by making conflicting statements.

Swamiji says, the 'I' in us is 'Spiritual' and continues ever to be so despite what the body, mind etc do. Our life in this world can never make us 'material'. The secret lies in 'Spiritualizing' all our interactions instead of 'materializing' them!

Poojya Swamiji will be taking Bhagavad Gita Verse by Verse in this Satsang (Saturdays). Swamiji is now discussing the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
