In this satsang, Ma talks about the importance of developing sublime inner qualities, to progress in the Spiritual Path. To take up a quality, cherishing it, dwelling on it and making it our own is a complete sadhana in itself. Ultimately it is our strong yearning and sincere love for the quality, which will help us attain it.
As seekers, we must always remain attentive and not lose sight of our aim at any time. The tendency for laziness and procrastination are well known impediments and one must overcome them with persistent resolve. Ma says that chanting slokas and contemplating on their meaning is the most effective sadhana - with that we remain connected to Atma.
Ma tells us that by rubbing these thoughts and words repeatedly like a rubbing stone, our mind will automatically become pure. There is no other effort needed than to read, contemplate and assimilate.
Mā's Satsang is entitled 'Towards Eternal Peace and Happiness' based on Bhagavad Gita, Vivekachudamani, Yoga Vasistha Ramayanam and Bhagavatam | | Live Global Satsang with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/ 10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST
