This episode is a continuation of the introduction of the endearing and elevating Srimad Bhagavatam.

Swamiji says that his objective in taking up this exposition is to expose the truths, values, ideals and messages contained in the text. He emphasizes the importance of total involvement on the part of the listeners. He makes us aware that this spiritual and philosophical exposition needs to be heard, assimilated and imbibed with full sincerity.

Swamiji stresses the point that the purpose of the narration is to expose our Inner Splendour. The objective is to reach the intelligence of the listeners and motivate them to take up introspection. Through this process of awakening of intelligence, one is enriched and empowered.
