In this talk, Swamiji discusses the subtle concepts presented by Sri Krishna in the first few verses of the 13th chapter—Kshetra and Kshetrajna. This body is called the kshetra and the knower of the body is called Kshetrajna.
Going further Krishna says: ”I am the kshetrajna in all the bodies.” This cryptic and mystifying statement is explained in detail by Swamiji. He explains that when Sri Krishna states that ``I am the Kshetrajna”, he has identified with the universal consciousness, the supreme Self which permeates everything.
Bhagavad Gita says that the knowledge of both Kshetra and Kshetrajna is true spiritual wisdom. Swamiji deeply analyses and explains the twin concepts of Kshetra and Kshetrajna.
What constitutes Kshetra? Swamiji lucidly explains in detail each word of the sixth and seventh verse and makes it graspable and clear to the listeners. Swamiji exhorts all the serious seekers to contemplate deeply on the concepts presented and develop further clarity on the subject.
