Ma Gurupriya

048 – Freedom From The Fever Of Worldliness – Part 1 | Swamini Ma Gurupriya

1085 Views | 3 years ago

In this enriching satsang, Ma fondly tells us that as seekers, our primary duty is to fix our mind and intelligence in God. Knowing well, from our own experience that the thoughts about the world can ultimately bring us suffering alone, we must cherish the stability and unaffectedness bestowed by the anchorage in God. Seeing this whole world, including our individual identity as an expression of God or Consciousness, we must feel deeply within that - I am God's and God is mine.

The agitations of the mind like desire, anger and fear are caused by the fever of worldliness. This fever can be effectively cured only with the help of constant reflection on our real identity. Ma cautions us that this effort of repeated listening, reading and ruminating on the qualities of Self will find its fruition only when we begin to acquire these qualities and start manifesting them in our lives. Ultimately, it is our resolve and love for this path, which determines whether we will make progress or not!

Mā's Satsang is entitled 'Towards Eternal Peace and Happiness' based on Bhagavad Gita, Vivekachudamani, Yoga Vasistha Ramayanam and Bhagavatam | | Live Global Satsang with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/ 10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST
