Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha

05 Shanti Mantras | Self-addressed Prayers | Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha

1241 Views | 2 years ago

On this last day, taking a Mantra, Swamiji makes a detailed analysis of the word ‘Bhadram’-auspiciousness.

We have to generate auspicious thoughts in our mind. Although we are praying to Devas and other natural powers to see, hear and feel auspiciousness, the onus is on us to make everything auspicious. An external pilgrimage cannot help us in this matter. We need to embark on an inner pilgrimage to refine and sublimate our own within.

Swamiji also discusses the last Mantra which is an exclusive prayer for our own Sadhana and Self-Realization. “Self-Realization is the transformation, purification and maturation of the body, mind and intelligence. That buddhi which is now revealing the world with multiple differences, the same buddhi will start to reveal the One Truth behind the whole existence.” concludes Swamiji.

Mantras discussed:
Om Bhadram karnebhih.......
Om yo bhahmaanam vidadhaati poorvam.....
