058 – Importance of Guru-Parampara | Voice of Upanishads | Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha

1521 Views | 2 years ago

In this Satsang, Nutan Swamiji enlightens us on the importance of the association of a knower saint - the Guru, in a seeker's life. The scriptures and texts can only go so far as to proclaim the truth, but it is the Guru alone, who can help us to experience it! Having already walked the path and reached the destination, the Guru becomes an invaluable guide for us in our spiritual journey.

Swamiji tells us that this being a Subject knowledge, it cannot be attained until we give up our tendency to look for something other than our own Self. This inherent tendency is a great stumbling block even for the most advanced seekers.

Through a gradual process of transformation of our inner personality, the knowledge finally dawns and the scriptural declarations become our own living experience!

Swamiji will be discussing 'Voice of Upanishads'. The Global Satsang will be based on Kathopanishad and Mundakopanishad. | Live Satsangs with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST.
