In this Satsang, Nutan Swamiji continues to enlighten us on the important role of the background stories in our scriptures. Swamiji tells us that these stories give us a vivid picture of the mental, intelligential and characteral dimensions of the persona - from where these statements are coming from - so that we can ruminate over it, absorb it and bring about transformation of our being.

The ultimate aim of the scriptures is to expand our mind and make it universal - to embrace the whole world as our own. Swamiji cautions us that unless we are graced by bhakti - a strong emotional association with the truth, the scriptural knowledge will remain fruitless and unfulfilled. Only when the knowledge is amply complemented by bhakti, one will discover absolute freedom and liberation!

Swamiji will be discussing 'Voice of Upanishads'. The Global Satsang will be based on Kathopanishad and Mundakopanishad. | Live Satsangs with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST.
